Building services (MEP) planning for the Allgäu and Lake Constance – from Lindau and Memmingerberg
PCM-Reichl plans electrical systems, HVAC & plumbing and building automation across service phases 1–9 – model-based, coordinated across all trades, with two offices in the region: in Lindau on Lake Constance and in Memmingerberg near Memmingen.
Two locations, short distances: Lindau on Lake Constance and Memmingerberg in the Allgäu
Building services (MEP) needs presence on the ground – during as-built surveys, in coordination meetings and on site. From Lake Constance we serve the four-country region around Lindau, Friedrichshafen and Bregenz; from the Allgäu, the economic regions of Memmingen, Kempten and Upper Swabia. Both offices work on the same digital model – one data set, one responsibility.

Building services (MEP) in the region: electrical, HVAC & plumbing, building automation, site supervision
All building services trades from a single source – planned by project phases, coordinated in one model, with a cost structure to DIN 276.
Building services planning
Specialist planning of all trades across service phases 1–9: one model, one responsibility – from concept to acceptance.
Building services planning in detail →Electrical planning
Power systems and low-voltage & communications systems, safety lighting, lightning protection – electrical planning for industrial, commercial and residential projects on Lake Constance.
Electrical planning in the Allgäu & on Lake Constance →HVAC & plumbing planning
Heating, ventilation, cooling and plumbing as one coordinated system – energy-efficient for new builds and existing buildings in the Allgäu.
HVAC & plumbing planning in the region →Building automation & Controls
Building automation planning to VDI 3814: vendor-neutral from the function list to commissioning.
Controls (BMS) planning in the Allgäu →Site supervision (MEP)
Specialist site management for electrical, HVAC & plumbing and building automation controls in service phase 8 – including review of variations under VOB/B.
Site supervision in the region →3D laser scanning
As-built surveys by laser scan and scan-to-BIM: the reliable planning basis for refurbishments in the region.
Request an as-built survey →Why appoint a building services (MEP) firm from the region?
Because proximity counts where building services are decided: during the as-built survey and on the construction site. A firm that is regularly on site in service phase 8 spots deviations before they are installed and reviews variations under VOB/B before they reach the budget. Add market knowledge: a firm from the region knows the authorities, utilities and installation contractors between Lake Constance and the Allgäu.
Electrical and Controls (BMS) planning in the Allgäu – specialist trades on the ground
Electrical systems and building automation increasingly determine a building’s performance and operating costs – and are at the same time among the scarcest planning disciplines on the market. PCM-Reichl plans both trades in-house: electrical systems to the relevant DIN VDE standards, building automation and controls technology to VDI 3814 – vendor-neutral, with open protocols such as BACnet, KNX and Modbus.
Because data points, cable routes and control cabinets come from the same model, the interfaces between the trades remain in one pair of hands – from the building automation function list to commissioning.
Building services (MEP) for industry and commerce between Memmingen, Kempten and Ravensburg
The economic region between Memmingen, Kempten, Wangen im Allgäu and Ravensburg is shaped by manufacturing SMEs – with production halls, logistics space and a building stock that has grown over time. This is exactly where building services determine security of supply, energy costs and the capacity to expand.
For existing buildings without reliable documentation, we capture the installations ourselves by 3D laser scan and model them into an as-built BIM model – the basis for refurbishment and extension during ongoing operations. We structure cost planning to DIN 276; tendering is based on reliable quantities from the verified model.
Which regions does PCM-Reichl cover?
Our core area covers the Lake Constance region and the Allgäu: Lindau, Friedrichshafen, Ravensburg, Wangen im Allgäu, Memmingen, Kempten and neighbouring Upper Swabia. Thanks to our border location on Lake Constance, we also take on projects in nearby Vorarlberg, for example in Bregenz or Dornbirn. Depending on the project, we work across the entire DACH region – model-based, digital project delivery makes collaboration independent of location.
How does working together start?
With an initial consultation – by phone or at one of our two offices. You outline your project; we clarify scope, interfaces and timeline. You then receive a proposal with clearly delineated service phases.
Does PCM-Reichl work with architects and general planners?
Yes. A large share of our work is specialist planning in teams with architects and general planners. We deliver coordinated trade models in open formats (IFC/BCF) and clear responsibilities at every interface.
Does PCM-Reichl also take on partial scopes – for example only service phase 8?
Yes. We also take on site supervision and specialist site management for building services as a stand-alone mandate for third-party designs – as well as individual service phases, as-built surveys by 3D laser scan or MEP coordination.
Projects in the region
We are a young firm – and we handle references the way we handle our planning: we only show what can be substantiated. Our first projects between Lake Constance and the Allgäu are under way; as soon as our clients consent to publication, we will document them here with the brief, the scope of services and the outcome. Until then: in an initial consultation we show you on an actual model how we capture existing buildings, coordinate trades and resolve clashes.
